The kits

Five verticals. One shared core.

Every kit shares the same 65-component AI-native foundation. Each kit brings its own design system, copy framework, and launch playbook tuned for a specific AI product vertical.

Our approach

Built for AI products — not by adding AI to SaaS.

Most "AI templates" are generic SaaS kits with a purple gradient and a robot hero icon. Look at Cursor, Perplexity, Lovable — real AI products look nothing like SaaS.

They have live playgrounds, agent traces, tool visualizations, streaming UIs. That's what buyers of AI products need. That's what we ship.

Every kit is AI-native at the component level — the chat demo really streams, the trace viewer really renders tool calls. Drop in your API key and your page is live.

Who's behind this

An actual indie builder — not a faceless agency.

webdesignhot is me — Richard, a New Zealand-based sole-trader shipping AI products since 2023. I've launched picoko.com (AI icons) and chattyaid.app (AI chat assistant) — both paying customers, both kept me up at 3am.

AgentKit is the landing kit I wish existed when I launched those. Every headline, every component, every FAQ answer was written by someone who has actually pushed an AI product live and watched the first stranger pay for it.

If you have questions about the kit, email me — the real answer comes from the same inbox that processes your purchase. Not a ticket queue.

FAQ

The stuff you'd actually ask.

Is this open source? Can I resell it? +
No to both. The repo is distributed via private Cloudflare R2 links after purchase. Your license lets you use AgentKit for any number of your own commercial products — fork it, modify it, delete half of it. You can't resell AgentKit itself as a template or kit. Full terms in LICENSE.md.
What's actually in the ZIP? +
The full Next.js 16 project source. 48 AI-native components, 17 UI primitives, 9 landing sections, 279 passing tests, 9 Markdown docs, 3 built-in themes, edge-runtime chat route wired to the Vercel AI SDK v6. Zero obfuscation, zero upsells, no "premium" locked features.
Do I need an OpenAI key to see it work? +
No. The hero chat autoplays a scripted demo without any key, and every other section is static. Drop in an OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or any AI SDK v6-compatible key and it streams real responses — but you can ship the page live with zero API cost.
What does "lifetime updates" actually mean? +
When AgentKit ships a new version (v1.5, v1.6, etc.), you get a fresh download URL by email — no re-purchase, no subscription. If we ever write v2.x from scratch, buyers from the previous 6 months get it free. See CHANGELOG.md for the current release history.
How is this different from shadcn/ui or ShipFast? +
shadcn/ui is a generic component kit — you still have to build the AI UX (streaming, agent traces, tool calls) yourself. ShipFast is a SaaS backend starter — no AI components at all. AgentKit fills the gap: 48 AI-native primitives that shadcn doesn't cover, plus the 17 UI primitives you'd also need. Use AgentKit alongside either one. See docs/MIGRATING.md for exact side-by-side diffs.
What's the refund policy? +
14 days, no questions asked. Reply to your receipt. Refund processed same day (Polar handles the money). You keep whatever you've already forked.
When do the other 4 kits ship? +
DevToolKit June · ChatbotKit July · GenerativeKit August · B2BKit September. Those dates are promises, not marketing fluff — if a kit slips, you'll hear it in the changelog first. Each one shares AgentKit's 60-component core, tuned for its vertical.
